ABOUT THE ROLE

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Review, verify, and upload proof of delivery (POD) documents submitted by carriers or drivers.
  • Cross-check delivery confirmations with bills of lading, manifests, and client records.
  • Identify and resolve missing, incomplete, or inaccurate documentation.
  • Communicate with clients, carriers, and operations teams to clarify delivery discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records for all verified shipments to support billing and compliance.
  • Ensure every shipment is verified promptly to enable smooth financial closeouts.

Day-to-Day Duties

  • Retrieve PODs from carrier portals, dispatch systems, or client submissions.
  • Check delivery signatures, timestamps, and consignee information for accuracy.
  • Input verified data into logistics or transportation management systems (TMS).
  • Flag and investigate any inconsistencies between delivery documents and shipment records.
  • Coordinate with accounting teams to confirm invoice readiness.
  • Generate daily reports summarizing verified and pending delivery files.
