ABOUT THE ROLE
Roles and Responsibilities
- Track and monitor active shipments across multiple carrier systems and visibility platforms.
- Identify and resolve shipment exceptions such as delays, routing errors, or missed scans.
- Communicate proactively with drivers, carriers, and clients to provide real-time updates.
- Verify proof of pickup (POP) and proof of delivery (POD) documentation for each shipment.
- Maintain accurate records and update shipment statuses within transportation management systems (TMS).
- Collaborate with customer service, dispatch, and operations teams to ensure full visibility and client satisfaction.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Monitor daily freight movements and alert stakeholders of any service disruptions.
- Cross-check shipment information between carrier portals and internal systems.
- Investigate discrepancies and follow up until each issue is resolved.
- Communicate expected delivery times and delay resolutions to clients and internal teams.
- Generate daily and weekly tracking reports summarizing shipment performance.
- Ensure every shipment milestone is documented, verified, and closed on time.
